What is ‘Deadly Illusions’ about?
Well, as mentioned above, Deadly Illusions is a psychological thriller. It is a story of a couple, Mary and Tom Morrison. Mary, a novelist and best selling author is going through major writer’s block. In order to give full attention to her work, Marry hires a babysitter, Grace, to take care of her kids while she focuses on the book she is writing.
Grace gets along with the family very well. However, soon, Mary realizes that Grace might not have good intentions and she could actually turn out a big threat for the family.
The official synopsis reads:
A bestselling female novelist Mary Morrison (Kristin Davis), suffering from writer’s block, hires an innocent yet beautiful caregiver Grace (Greer Grammer) to watch over her children as she dangerously indulges in the fantasies of her new bestseller. Everything changes when Mary becomes spellbound by Grace who soon becomes her muse. As their relationship blossoms, the line between the life she’s writing and the one she’s living becomes blurred.

A look at the cast and crew
Written and directed by Anna Elizabeth James, the psychological thriller stars Kristin Davis in a lead role. She is best known for ‘Sex and the City’ franchise. Alongside Kristin Davis, Deadly Illusions also stars Dermot Mulroney (Prodigal Son), Greer Grammer (Awkward), and Shanola Hampton. With some well-known faces on board and a fantastic trailer, this thriller definitely looks promising.
