Aamir Khan’s Dangal continued its glorious run in China even in the fourth week. There is no stopping the movie in China as it has grossed 850 crores in 24 days. Who would have thought this around a month back that a Bollywood movie will cross 1000 crores in China? 1000 Crore look a conformable number now as the movie has refused to slow down. Dangal earned 41.76 crores on its fourth Sunday to take its total collection to 888.26 crores.
The total overseas collection of the movie stands at massive 1152 crores. The movie has grossed 1650 crores worldwide. The total worldwide collection of the movie stands at 1692 crores. The movie is now aiming for total of 2000 crores. This is simply exceptional as no other Bollywood movie has even crossed 800 crores mark worldwide before Dangal.
The success of Dangal is China has certainly proved that Aamir Khan is the new box office king of Bollywood. His last three movies, Dangal, PK and Dhoom 3 have been blockbusters at the overseas box office. (Read: Top overseas grossers of Bollywood)
Aamir has been very happy with the success of Dangal in China. Talking about the same, he said, “I am really happy that ‘Dangal‘ is getting appreciated in China and all over the world.”
Aamir Khan will be next seen on Secret Superstar in which he is playing a musician. The movie is slated for release on Diwali. After Secret Superstar in which he is playing a cameo, Aamir Khan has a big release with YRF titled Thugs Of Hindostan. In TOH, Aamir Khan will be sharing the screen for the first time with Amitabh Bachchan. Also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh, the movie is slated for release on Diwali 2018.
