Aamir Khan’s upcoming has created huge buzz before release. The movie has been loved by the distributors and Bollywood celebs and it seems that it will set the Box Office on fire on Dec 23.

Now there is some great new for all Bollywood lovers out there. Aamir Khan’s Dangal has been declared tax-free in Uttar Pradesh. This means that the moviegoers in the state can watch the movie in at almost half the price. This is a big boost for Dangal at the time when demonetization seems to have a huge impact on Bollywood releases. (Read: Dangal sold for whopping 75 crores)

UP government today announced tax freedom for Dangal. This is one of the rare films which has got that status even before release. It is likely to be declared tax-free in some other states like Delhi, Haryana, Punjab etc.

As the movie revolves around Women empowerment, Aamir Khan has earlier revealed that they will apply for tax-free status for Dangal before release.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal is a  story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. Both of them went on to win medals at Common Wealth Games.

Directed by Disney India and Aamir Khan, Dangal also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on 23 Dec 2016.
