Aamir Khan in one of the interviews for the promotion of Dangal revealed that the budget of the movie is 70 crores. Though we are not assuming it to be official, the budget of the movie is surely not more than 80 crores and that includes advertising and promotion cost. Aamir Khan is the producer of the movie along with Disney and he will share 70% profits from the theatrical revenue.

In India, the movie is releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. In overseas, the movie is releasing on around 1000 screens. So, the total screen count of the movie is 5300 screens.

Made on a budget of 70 crores, the movie is already a profitable venture for the makers. As reported by us, the satellite rights of the movie have been sold to Zee network for whopping 75 crores. Around 15 crores are recovered through music and digital rights. So, Dangal will begin its Box Office journey with profits.
