Eros International is going to produce the remake of Hero No. 1 and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
Two of David Dhawan‘s superhit movies are going to be remade very soon. Eros International has collaborated with producer Vashu Bhagnani for the remake of Hero No. 1 and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan had Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in lead roles while Hero No 1 had Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.
According to Mumbai Mirror, the latest development in this project is that the movies will go on floors in a few months. A source reveled that, “Work on the script has already begun. The makers are considering Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh are on their wish-list for Hero No 1.”
The makers have not even finalised the directors for the films and are still looking for someone to helm the projects. The source further revealed that “The producers will be collaborating on several new projects as well which are still in the pipeline. For now the focus is on these two remakes.”
