Brahmastra Postponed To 2021: Amidst Coronovirus Scare, The Major Schedule Has Been Called Off. Brahmastra Unlikely To Release On 4 Dec 2020.

Coronavirus has emerged as a major threat to the entertainment industry in India. With scare spreading far and wide, it seems that the industry will remain shut down for at least 3-4 weeks. Irrfan Khan’s Angrezi Medium was the film to make it to the theatres. The release date of Sooryavanshi, 83, Coolie No. 1 has been postponed indefinitely. Karan Johar’s Brahmastra is likely to delay as the marathon final schedule is on hold. The much-delayed film is scheduled to release on 4 Dec 2020 but it seems unlikely that it will make it in time.

A source informed Bollywood Hungama, “For now the final schedule involving Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Nagarjuna has been called off until further notice. The so called final release date after several postponements is December 4. It seems unlikely that Brahmastra would be able to meet the deadline.”

Brahmastra is a mega-budget film. It’s in making for over two years now. The film would not be able to make it in time (4 Dec 2020). With Brahmastra likely to go into 2021, 2020 would be the second year in a row with no release for Ranbir Kapoor. His last release was Sanju released in Jun 2018.
