Spider-Man: No Way Home hits a double century, becomes the third highest-grossing Hollywood movie in India.
Marvel’s superhero flick Spider-Man: No Way Home is unstoppable at the Indian box office. Amidst the pandemic fear, the Tom Holland starrer has generated big numbers across the country. On the 18th day of its release, Spider-Man: No Way Home collected Rs 4.75 crore to cross the Rs 200 crore mark.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is only the third Hollywood movie to cross the Rs 200 crore mark in India. What makes this feat even more special is the fact that the movie is released amidst pandemic fear. Also, there has been huge competition from big Indian movies, Pushpa and 83.

With collections of Rs 202.43 crore, Spider-Man: No Way Home is now the third-highest-grossing Hollywood movie in India. Interestingly, the top 3 Hollywood grossers in India are Marvel movies. Avengers: Endgame remained at the top with collections of Rs 370+ crore. Avengers: Infinity War is in the second position with Rs 227.43 crore.
Sony Picture’s Spider-Man: No Way Home has set the global box office on fire since its release on Dec 16, 2021. It is now the 12th highest-grossing movie of all time, with a worldwide box office total of $1.37 billion (about Rs. 10,194 crore).
The new Spider-Man movie has also become Sony Pictures’ biggest hit ever, surpassing its precursor Spider-Man: Far From Home at $1.131 billion (about Rs. 8,416 crore). This feat is even more special as these numbers are achieved post-pandemic. Moreover, the movie hasn’t debuted in China, which is a huge market.
Coming back to the Indian box office, Spider-Man: No Way Home still stands a chance to beat Avengers: Infinity War to become the second-highest Hollywood grosser in the country. If the theatres remained opened then it will definitely beat the Avengers movie.
