Box Office Report: OK Jaanu First Weekend Collection

Ok Jaanu First Week Collection: First Release Of 2017 Is A Big Flop At The Box Office
Sharddha and Aditya in OK Jaanu

As predicted by us, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s ‘Ok Jaanu’ failed to create any magic at the domestic Box Office. After an average opening day with the collection of 4.08 crores, the movie failed to witness significant growth and managed to earn around 14 crores in the first weekend.

The movie was released with fair buzz but failed to attract the audiences to the theaters. It was targeted to the audience in prime metros and multiplexes but hasn’t been able to create any magic as Deepika Padukone’s xXx: Return Of Xander Cage remained the first choice for moviegoers.

OK Jaanu First Weekend Collection: Day-Wise Report

The movie managed to witness growth over the weekend but the strong trend is missing. Ideally, the movie should have earned 6 crores on opening day and ended the first weekend with the collection of 22 crores. The first-weekend collection of OK Jaanu is 13.8 crores.

OK Jaanu 1st day collection: 4.08 crores
OK Jaanu 2nd day collection: 4.9 crores
OK Jaanu 3rd day collection: 4.82 crores

OK Jaanu 1st Day Collection Update: Occupancy Report And First Day Early EstimatesThe movie will face huge drop from Monday. As per our expectations, it will wrap up its Box Office journey with the collection of around 28 crores. OK Jaanu will be Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur’s second flop in a row.  Shraddha and Aditya’s last releases, Rock On 2 and Fitoor were the biggest disasters of 2016.

Despite being a flop, OK Jaanu has emerged as a profitable venture for its makers. They have already recovered a budget of 40 crores through satellite, music, and overseas rights.
