‘Kapoor and Sons’ is holding well despite the release of two big movies, Rocky Handsome and Batman vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice yesterday. The movie remained the first choice for the family audience in metros, big cities and multiplexes.

With the total collection of 51.14 crores, Kapoor And Sons is now the third highest grosser of 2016. The movie has beaten the lifetime collection of Wazir, Jai Gangaajal and Ghayal Once Again. It is behind Akshay Kumar’s Airlift (128.06 crores) and Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja (75 crores).

‘Kapoor and Sons’ has recovered its budget of 38 crores and is already in the safe zone by a comfortable margin. Considering the current pace, we expect the movie to remain strong and end its Box Office journey with the lifetime collection of 75+ crores. It is all set to become the third super hit of the year after Airlift and Neerja.
