Last Friday, we saw the release of three small budget movies, Machine, Trapped and Aa Gaya Hero. As expected all of them failed at the box office. In fact, it turned out a disastrous week for Bollywood as the collective collection of the three releases is less than 10 crores. Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania remained the first choice for the moviegoers as it earned 26.25 crores in the second week. Machine marks the debut of Mustafa Burmawala, son of director Mustan Burmawala. Abbas-Mustan Jodi is famous for directing thrillers like Aitraaz, Ajnabee, Khiladi etc but they have terribly failed this time around. The movie has emerged as one of the biggest disasters of all time. Made on a budget of 25 crores (including P&A), Machine earned less than 3 crores in the first week.

Aa Gaya Hero earned only 1.04 crores in the first week and ensured that Govinda needs something extraordinary to regain his place in Bollywood.
