Box Office: Check the latest box office report of this week release Jawaani Jaaneman and last week releases Street Dancer 3D and Panga.

Saif Ali Khan’s rom-com Jawaani Jaaneman is the new release of the week. It is facing stiff competition from holdover releases, Panga, Street Dancer 3D and Tanhaji. Let’s check day 1 box office report of Jawaani Jaaneman and day 8 report of Panga and Street Dancer 3D.

This Friday release, Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ is off to a decent start at the box office. As expected the film opened in Rs 3-4 crore range. As per trade experts Taran Adarsh, Jawaani Jaaneman 1st day collection is Rs 3.24 crore. This is a pretty good start.

As the reviews are positive, the makers would be hoping for good growth over the weekend. However, it looks tough as the buzz is low and the film has been leaked online on piracy sites by Tamilrockers.

Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer dance film ‘Street Dancer 3D’ witnessed a big drop on its second Friday. It collected Rs 2.01 crore on its 8th day. The film is yet to cross Rs 60 crore mark. Remo D’Souza’s directional would be hoping to cross Rs 70 crore mark by the end of the second weekend.

The budget of Street Dancer 3D is Rs 100 crore. It needs to cross Rs 100 crore to be a box office hit which is certainly an impossible task now.

After a low opening week, Kangana Ranaut’s Panga holds well on it second Friday. It collected around Rs 1.3 crore on 8th day, giving itself a small chance. The film is keeping itself afloat, collecting on a lower level.

Total collection of Panga after 8 days stands at Rs 23 crore. The film’s team would be hoping to cross Rs 30 crore mark by the end of the second week.
