Bajirao Mastani Second Week Collection: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starer Bajirao Mastani is still going strong at the domestic Box Office.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Bajirao Mastani is still holding well at the Box Office. After a decent opening week with the collection of 86 crores, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra starer Bajirao Mastani took full advantage of the Christmas weekend and collected 34.3 crores. Though the movie witnessed an expected drop of 50% on its second Monday, its performance on weekdays has been consistent with around 5 Crores daily collection figure. As per early estimates, the movie collected 5.35 crores on its second Thursday to takes it total collection to 141.85 crores.
Exceeding all expectations Bajirao Mastani proved to be a real nightmare for SRK’s Dilwale. The movie has literally thrown Dilwale out of the Box Office equation. Bajirao Mastani is the highest grosser for Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali after Ram-Leela which collected 116 crores.
The movie is already a profitable venture for its makers and if continues to remain strong, it may end up being a super hit. Considering the current trend, we expect the movie to remain strong on new year weekend. The movie is expected to close it Box Office journey with the lifetime collection of around 170 crores.
