Kesari 10th day box office collection: Kesari is Akshay Kumar’s 11th movie to enter 100 crore club, crosses 115 crore mark in just 10 days.

Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer Kesari joins Bollywood 100 crore club in just 7 days. It is Akshay Kumar’s eleventh 100 crore movie to achieve this feat. In fact, it is Akki’s fastest 100 crore movie, beating Toilet: Ek Prem Katha which took 8 days to cross 100 crore mark. Kesari is Akshay Kumar’s third consecutive 100 crores grosser after Gold and 2.0.

Released on Holi, Kesari is having a good run at the box office. After earning 105.86 crores in the extended first week, the movie is holding strong in the second week. It earned 4.45 crores, 6.45 crores on its second Friday and Saturday respectively to take its 10 days total to 116.76 crores.

Kesari is the 5th movie after Uri, Total Dhamaal, Manikarnika and Gully Boy to cross 100 crore mark in 2019. It is a very good sign that five movies have entered 100 crore club in just three months.

Kesari budget and box office economics

The total budget of the movie is around 100 crores. If will be a hit at 130 crores, super hit at 160 crores and blockbuster at 220 crores lifetime collection.

The clash with IPL has certainly affected Kesari box office collection. The collection would have been 10-15 crores more without IPL.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari is based on one of the bravest battles Battle of Saragarhi, military combat between 21 soldiers of the Sikh Regiment of the British Army and 8,000–12,000 Afghans.
