Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone highly anticipated movie 83 is off to a respected opening at the domestic box office. Released on 3374 screens (Hindi), the movie opened on expected lines. As per the Bollywood Hungama report, 83 first day box office collection is Rs 12.64 crore. The report suggests that the movie has fared well in metro cities. However, in mass centres and single screens, it recorded poor occupancy. With a collection of Rs 12.64 crore, 83 becomes Ranveer Singh’s 7th highest opening day grosser.

Talking about last week releases, Spider-Man: No Way Home continues its glorious run. After an incredible opening week, it holds well at the box office despite a huge drop in the screen count. The Marvel biggie collected Rs 6.75 crore on the ninth day of its release.
Spider-Man: No Way Home has crossed Rs 150 crore mark (Nett) in India. After 9 days, its total box office collection stands at Rs 154.82 crore. The movie will now hope to cross the Rs 200 crore mark. It is currently the fifth highest-grossing Hollywood movie in India.
