Akshay Kumar starer Boss has collected around 7.5 to 8.5 crores on second day which is a decent figure considering the fact that Thursday was a working day. Movie has shown a drop of 20 to 25% on single screens which is not bad at all. Boss collections now stands at around 21 to 22 crores in first two days. Movie is specially performing well in mass centers. However reports from metros and multiplexes are not good. Movie has shown a big drop of around 35 to 40% on Thursday. Average response from multiplexes and metros is responsible for average Box Office figures.
Boss Box Office fate now depends on the coming weekend as there is no big release this weekend and the movie has received a positive word of mouth from audience.
Movie will surely gain some momentum on Friday as there is a holiday in some parts of the country. Saturday and Sunday will be the decisive days for Boss.
Boss collection breakout for first two days:-
First day: 13 to 14 crores(Holiday Release)
Second day: 7.5 to 8.5 crores(estimated)
As per our expectations, Boss will collect around 35 crores on this weekend which would make total to around 60 crores for extended weekend. It would be difficult for the movie to enter Bollywood’ 100 crore elite club.
