Bollywood Box Office Report January 2016: January 2016 saw five major releases but it is Akshay Kumar’s ‘Airlift’ which emerges as a clear winner.
2015 ended on a spectacular note for B-town as both Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani emerged as big hits at the Box Office. Hopes were high from January 2016 releases but none of them hasn’t really able to make any noise except Akshay Kumar’s Airlift. Akshay Kumar’s ‘Airlift‘ is the clear winner with the lifetime collection of 100+ crores and still counting. Two adult comedies, ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum 3‘ and ‘Mastizaade‘ were also released but none of them wasn’t able to tickle our funny bones.
The first big release of the year, Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar starrer Wazir bombed at the Box Office after a decent opening weekend. The movie remained confined to the multiplexes audience only because of its limited appeal. Let’s have a detailed look at the January 2016 Box Office report.
