It’s the end of one more month of 2017. February 2017 proved a decent month for Bollywood as Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 emerged a big winner. Talking about the other major releases of the month, Vishal Bharadwaj’s Rangoon starring Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan has wrapped up its Box Office journey. The movie has emerged as one of the biggest disasters of all time. Made on a budget of 80 crores, the movie is expected to wrap up its Box Office journey well under 25 crores.
Rana Daggubati’s war film ‘The Ghazi Attack’ came as a major surprise as it has earned around 15 crores till now. The Hindi distribution rights of the movie were acquired by Karan Johar for 15 crores. Considering the current pace, we expect the movie to be a profitable venture for the distributors.
The other movies of the month, runningshaadi.com, Irada and Mona Darling failed to get all India release.
