Bollywood Box Office Report: ‘Fan’ Falls Flat, ‘The Jungle Book’ Stable

Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Fan’ continues to drop at the domestic Box Office. The movie collected 7.75 crores in the second weekend to take it total collection figure to 79.25 crores. Despite good reviews, the movie had a terrible time at the Box Office. On its second Monday, the movie almost falls flat and collected around 1 crores. ‘Fan‘ now stands at the total collection of 80.25 crores. With no chances of revival, ‘Fan’ is now SRK’s first flop in the last 10 years. It is Shahrukh Khan’s first movie since ‘My Name Is Khan (2010) to not cross 100 crores at the Indian Box Office.

Talking about the Hollywood release The Jungle Book, the movie has an exceptional third weekend at the Box Office. The movie refused to slow down and collected 18.92 crores in the third weekend. On its third Monday, the movies collected 2.92 crores, thus taking its lifetime collection to 144.89 crores. Considering the current pace, we expect the movie to collect more than 170 crores in its lifetime. A sure shot blockbuster.
