2013 being an eventful year for Bollywood. It has been a year of Box Office records for Bollywood. Starting with record-breaking streak with Chennai Express in August and ends with Dhoom 3 in December, it been a year to celebrate Box Office records for Bollywood. Deepika Padukone emerges out as a new queen of Bollywood.

2013, a year of Box Office records: It has been a money minting year for Bollywood with big releases makes even bigger at Box Office. 8 movies crossed the much talk about 100 crores mark out of which 3 have even crossed 200 crores. Star power is on high this year with Dhoom 3, Chennai Express and Krrish 3 emerges out as 200 crore grosser at Box Office. Dhoom 3 is on a roll at the moment and may cross 300 crore at Indian Box office.

Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka: Its been a year of Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka for Bollywood. For the first time in his long career, millennium star Amitabh Bachchan featured in a Hollywood movie The Great Gatsby. Anupam Kher made his mark at an international arena with Oscar Winning Silver Linings Playbook.

From idiot Box to Big Screen: 2013 marks the debut of some popular TV actors. Amith Sadh, Karan Kundra and Manish Paul make impressive Bollywood debut. Sushant Singh Rajput was the finding of the year 2013 for Bollywood.

Break-ups and Patch-ups: Two well known Bollywood couples Hrithik-Sussanne Roshan, Kalki Koechlin-Anurag Kashyap ended their marriage and decided to separate. This comes as a shock for Bollywood. In December, Hrithik and Sussanne publicly announced that they have ended their 13-year-old relationship. Salman and Shahrukh hugging each other at Iftar party was one of the big news of the year.

Condolences: It was the year to bid goodbye to some of the greats of Indian Film Industry. Bollywood bid goodbye to actors Pran and Farooq Shaikh, singers Manna Dey and Shamshad Begum, filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh, actresses Sophiya Haque and Jiah Khan.

Overall it was an eventful year for Bollywood. There was lots of Masala and Gossips along with some good films last year. We hope that this continues next year and the entertainment quotient continues.
