After the blockbuster movie Devdas, time has come for Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan to collaborate again.
Ever since the booming success of Bajirao Mastani, we haven’t heard about any new projects of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It turns out that there has been a lot of planning going on between Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan to collaborate again. Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale clashed at the box-office and we all know how it turned for both of them.
A couple of months ago during an interview, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had said this-
“I’m a filmmaker, he’s the biggest star, loved by millions. There’s no comparison. Shah Rukh made Devdas for me and I made it for him.He’s special to me and I think I am special for him. We are and will always be good friends. We are both here for the love of making movies.”
Last Tuesday night, Bhansali and Shah Rukh Khan bumped into each other at the Mirchi Music Awards. According to a source present at the event, “Shah Rukh patiently waited for Bhansali and sat next to him. The two immediately got talking about movies.”
Apparently, Shah Rukh is very eager to work with Bhansali and has even requested him to direct a film which could be co-produced by them. After the Mirchi Music Awards, the duo headed out for a late dinner at Bhansali’s residence and chatted for hours.
