The series follows Barry Berkman (Bill Hader) who works as a hitman. Lonely and discontented with life, he travels to Los Angeles to kill a target and finds a new sense of purpose when he joins a class full of aspiring actors. Despite his efforts to leave behind his criminal history and become an actor himself, he struggles to escape his dark past.
Well, every season of Barry seemed like a conclusive one. The first season ended with Barry committing the ultimate crime of killing Detective Janice Moss (Paula Newsome). Season 2 looked like the end of the series when Gene Cousineau (Henry Winkler) uncovered Barry’s crime.
The third season ended on a thrilling note with its most conclusive ending yet. Barry is deceived into storming into Janice’s father Jim’s home to kill him only to be trapped by a SWAT team and taken into custody.
So, the big question is, what will happen next. Will Barry go to jail? Will the world know that the adorable Iraqi war vet from Gene Cousineau’s story is a contract killer?
Speaking to The Wrap, Hader said:
“Well, certain things I can’t say, because it sets up stuff in Season 4, but I can say where Sally and NoHo Hank specifically end up this season and giving them Barry’s disease, like they murder people. That was something that, as we were looking at Season 4, it was kind of going like, ‘Oh, that could be interesting to just have their characters be different.'”

When is the will Barry Season 4 release date?

He directed five of the eight episodes of the third season, in addition to the series pilot, among other episodes dispersed throughout the series.
How many episodes will be there in Barry Season 4?
Just like the last three seasons, the fourth and final season of Barry will run for eight episodes starting on Sunday, April 16. It will conclude on Sunday, May 28.
Bill Hader directs all eight episodes of Season 4. Last month, Hader won a Director’s Guild of America Award for directing the Season 3 episode “710N.”
In an interview with Variety, Hader noted that he’d always wanted to write and direct Barry since the very beginning of the show, but needed to learn the ropes first. “As the show has progressed, I’ve gotten much more confident as a director and as a writer,” Hader said.

Will there be Barry Season 5?
There won’t be. In a recent interview with Variety, Hader confirmed that the story has ended exactly the way he envisioned it would. “I just wanted to tell this story, and the story’s done.”
However, seeing the popularity of the show, one can expect a spinoff series based on Barry.
