Badlapur Second Day Collection : Badlapur saw decent growth of 20% on Saturday.
After registering a decent opening with collection of 7 crores, Varun Dhawan’s Badlapur saw a decent growth of around 20% on its second day. The movie collected 8.75 crores on Saturday.
As predicted by us, Badlapur starts off well at domestic Box Office. We have predicted that the movie would collect 6 to 8 crores on its opening day. We are once again bang on target with our predictions as the movie collected exactly 7 crores on its opening day.
The movie opened to ecstatic reviews across the country. The reviews from critics has been tremendous and WOM from public has also been good. The movie is loved by everyone and the critics have applauded the performances of the lead star cast specially Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Badlapur was released on around 1700 screens across the country. The movie starts slowly on opening day with morning show’s registered occupancy of around 25% to 30%. With rave movies coming in, the movie saw decent growth in occupancy throughout the opening day. On its second day, the movie registered occupancy of around 40% in morning shows while the late evening shows saw good growth with occupancy of around 55%.
With 7 crores on opening day, Badlapur is the fourth highest opening day grosser of 2015.

Badlapur is made on a budget of 25 crores (Including Printing and Advertisement cost). The movie is expected to recover its budget with in first weekend. It would be interesting to see if Badlapur emerges out as first super hit of 2015 which Bollywood is desperately looking for. As per my prediction, the movie will surely be a first big hit with lifetime collection of around 50 crores.
