Saif Ali Khan could not have been happier on his home front as he has just become a daddy but the same could not be said for his professional career. His latest release Rangoon becomes Saif Ali Khan’s fifth consecutive failure as it has failed to do well at the box-office.
His last few films like Go Goa Gone, Bullett Raja, Humshakals and Phantom also failed to impress anyone and fared quite poorly at the box-office. With Rangoon’s box office collection going downhill with each passing day, the same can be said for this movie as well.
Is this is an indication of his ending acting career? If you think about it, except for his movies with Akshay Kumar initially, Kal Ho Naa Ho, two movies with Rani Mukherji and Preity Zinta respectively, there haven’t been many successful solo films in his career.
His next release is ‘Chef’ which will be directed by Raja Krishna Menon, scheduled to release in July this year. Will it be able to save Saif’s career?
