Baby 4th Day Collection: As per early estimates, Akshay Kumar starer Baby collected 15 crores on 1st Monday at Box Office.
Akshay Kumar’s action-thriller Baby was released this Friday along with Dolly Ki Doli. After getting an average start at Box Office with opening day collection of 9.3 Crores, the movie has shown good growth on Saturday and Sunday. Released on around 2500 screens the movie collected around 15.6 crores on its 1st Sunday at domestic Box Office. On Monday, the movie remains flat with the collection of around 15 crores as per early estimates.
We have already predicted in our Box Office Prediction section that Baby wouldn’t be getting a big opening at Box Office. Like Neeraj Pandey’s previous movies, Baby too got superb reviews from critics. The WOM from the public has been tremendous which has certainly boosted up the Box Office numbers. Baby should enjoy a decent extended weekend (including Republic Day) with the collection of around 45 crores in first four days at Box Office.
The first weekend Collection of Baby is less than Akshay Kumar’s last two release Entertainment and Holiday. Holiday collected around 41 crores in its opening weekend while Entertainment has a collection of 36.6 crores.
Baby is riding high on good WOM and rave reviews by critics. The movie has shown tremendous growth in first four days of its release. Baby is expected to have a long run at domestic Box Office as there are no big releases next week. The movie is made on a budget of around 75 crores and is expected to recover it by end of the second weekend. It would be interesting to see if it becomes the first 100 crore grosser of 2015.
