Avengers: Endgame is unstoppable at the Indian box office. After a record-breaking opening day with the collection of 53.1 crores, Marvel’s biggie holds well on Saturday. The unprecedented craze for the film is converting into big box office numbers.
The movie had a superb start on Saturday as it registers 80-85% occupancy in the morning shows. As expected, it gained momentum in the evening and night shows. In almost all metro cities, Housefull shows were reported in the second half of the day. The movie managed to hold well throughout the day.
As per Taran Adarsh, Avengers: Endgame India 2nd day box office collection is 51.4 crores. These are early estimates and the final numbers could be higher or lower depending on the performance in the late night shows.
The total collection of the movie after two days stands at 104.5 crores. These are incredible numbers for a movie running on just 2845 screens.
On its opening day, Avengers Endgame earned 53.1 crores in India. It is the third highest opening day collection for a movie released in India. Bahubali 2 (121 crores) and 2.0 (55 crores) takes the top position. Avengers: Endgame is now highest opening day Hollywood grosser in India beating Avengers: Infinity War (31.3 crores).
Avengers: Endgame has beaten all Bollywood blockbusters like Sanju, Tiger Zinda Hai, Sultan, Baahubali 2 and Thugs of Hindostan.
The movie is now heading for a historic opening weekend at the Indian box office. 150+ crore opening weekend is certainly on cards. The movie is expected to cross 250 crores by the end of the first week.
