Hollywood biggie Avengers: Endgame had a pretty good second week at the Indian box office. After a humongous opening week with the collection of 260+ crores, the movie witnessed a considerable drop in numbers in the second week. The collection in the second week almost goes down to one-fourth when compared to the first week.
Avengers: Endgame had an ordinary start in the second weel. It earned just 12.5 crores on its second Friday. However, it gained speed over the weekend and earned 18.3 and 21.75 crores on second Saturday and Sunday respectively.
As per expectations, it witnessed a considerable drop on weekdays and managed to earn around 21 crores from Monday to Wednesday.
As per early estimates, Avengers Endgame 14th day box office collection would be around 5.5 crores. The total collection of the movie after two weeks stands at around 338 crores.
Let me tell you that Avengers Endgame is the first Hollywood movie to collect 300+ crores in India. It is the highest grossing Hollywood movie in India.
Avengers: Endgame Box Office Journey
It’s been a fantastic box office journey for Avengers: Endgame. The film has shattered several box office records in India. On its opening day, it earned 53.6 crores on the first day to become the highest opening day Hollywood grosser in India.
With the collection of 158+ crores, it becomes the highest opening weekend Hollywood grosser in India. The movie continued its glorious run and ended the first week with the collection of 260+ crores, which is an all-time record.
Avengers: Endgame Expected Lifetime collection (expected)
The journey is yet not over. Avengers: Endgame can still make it to the 400 crore club but that will depend on how it performs in the third week. With the release of SOTY 2 today, Avengers: Endgame will get affected. However, if SOTY 2 fails then the Marvel biggie will remain the first choice for the moviegoers. I am expecting it cross 350 crore mark by the end of this weekend.
