After M.S. Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, it’s time for a biopic on Glenn’s life and Glenn McGrath would like Akshay Kumar to play him!
Glenn McGrath is one of the greatest cricketers Australia has given us. He holds the record for taking the highest number of wickets by a fast bowler in Test cricket and has won three World Cups with Australia. Its only fitting that a movie be made on this legend. When asked about it, Glenn McGrath would like Akshay Kumar to play him in his biopic.
This is what Glenn had to say about it-
“The other day, someone told me that a biopic should be made on me. Maybe Hugh Jackman can play me? He is an Aussie himself and loves cricket. But then, someone wanted a name from Bollywood. In that case, Akshay Kumar.”
McGrath is also quite excited for Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic. He says “I am not sure if something like that will happen soon or in the future, but I am excited for Sachin’s biopic. He has got a great story and I am sure people not just in India, but around the world will be interested in watching a film on his life. He is such an inspirational figure.”
