Today morning, Ace filmmaker Aanand L Rai surprised everyone by announcing his next title ‘Atrangi Re’ starring Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. Superstar Akshay Kumar is also onboard is what said to be a very interesting role. Atrangi Re is releasing on Valentine Day 2021. For those who are unaware, Karan Johar’s next film is also slated for Valentine Day 2021. So, we are in for another big clash at the box office. Talking about Karan’s film, it will be a drama to be directed by Shakun Batra. It stars Deepika Padukone, Ananya Pandey and Sidharth Chaturvedi in lead roles.
Talking about the film Shakun said, “I have had a wonderful journey with Karan and his production house for almost a decade now, and I can’t wait to get back into the director’s chair for my next. It’s a relationship drama where the characters find themselves stuck in a morally ambiguous zone.“
So, if this happens, it is going to be one interesting clash at the box office. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar now has three movies to be released in a time span of just four months. After Bachchan Pandey in Jan 2021, he has Atrangi Re in Feb 2021 and Bell Bottom in April 2021.
