Wazir 1st day Collection: Wazir had a decent opening day on Box Office

Wazir 1st Day Collection: Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar starer Wazir collected 5.57 crores on its opening day.

As predicted by us, Bejoy Nambiar’s Wazir has got off to a good start at the domestic Box Office. According to official reports, Wazir collected 5.57 crores on its first day. The movie opened on a poor note with the average occupancy in the morning shows around 20%. But, as the day progressed, the movie witnessed good growth, thanks to decent reviews from critics. The occupancy in evening shows was as high as 70% in metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Gurgaon.

Wazir 1st Day collection: 5.3 crores (early estimates)

Released on around 2400 screens, Wazir remained low in mass centers and single screens dominated regions. The movie performed well in high-ended multiplexes and metros like Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi. The expectations were always good from Wazir as the movie is backed by big names likes Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani. As per the reviews, the movie is packed with powerful performance delivered on the silver screen by Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan.

Made on a budget of 45 crores (35 crores on production and 10 crores on marketing), the movie needs to have a good opening weekend in order to emerge as a Box Office winner.
