American Gods Season 3: Here’s everything you need to know about the next instalment of the riveting fantasy drama on Starz and Amazon Prime Video.
American Gods is an American fantasy drama series based on Neil Gaiman’s novel of the same name. Though the novel was published way back in 2001, it still continues to remain fresh in the minds of the readers. The reason for this is Gaiman’s wacky yet relatable characters, imaginative plot, and layered narrative.
The first season premiered on 30 April 2017 followed by another riveting season released in March 2019. The show was praised for its engaging and cohesive storytelling and stellar performances. Soon after the second season premiere, Starz renewed American Gods for the third season. The expectations are once high from this show. “I’m thrilled American Gods has been renewed for a third season, and even more thrilled that I’m getting to work on it with Chic Eglee. Chic is the best partner-in-crime. We’ve been working for weeks now on the shape of the season and I’m delighted that he gets to carry the American Gods torch on to glory.”, he said in a statement.
It is highly anticipated that the upcoming season will deal with Shadow Moon’s new identity, which he himself isn’t aware of. The season ended with a spectacular reveal and has the audience guessing as to how the proceedings will turn out to be.
