This new Imtiaz Ali film will be not like his previous projects. Among the many speculations of the yet untitled Shah Rukh Khan and Imtiaz Ali’s collaboration, the most popular one was that the movie is going to a comedy drama and Shah Rukh Khan is likely to play a Sikh character.
But recently during the promotions of Fan, Shah Rukh Khan cleared up a lot of things about the movie. First of all, he will not be seen playing a Sardaar in the film and also, the film will not be a comedy drama. The shooting of the movie will start from July 2016, as Shah Rukh suffered from a knee injury while shooting for Raees and wants to take some time off.
Also, this Imitaz-Shah Rukh collaboration is very likely to bring back the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi of Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan. Though we still have to wait for an official announcement to be made about the leading lady of the movie.
