Alia Bhatt is one girl who has got her priorities set in the right place. This is because Alia Bhatt says an Oscar is as important as marriage for most girls. She sure knows what she wants the most in her life.
During the event, Alia Bhatt was asked about her plans to get married. This is how she replied-
“I only think about that one day when I am standing in front of people, receiving an Oscar. What marriage is for most girls, an Oscar is for me.”
She also spoke about her upcoming movie Udta Punjab. “Udta Punjab is not only about heroin or cocaine, but also about other substances which when used in a particular way can cause great harm to the body.” She was all praises about her co-star Shahid Kapoor during the event. Here’s what she has to say about Shahid “He’s never even had a sip of alcohol in his life but he played this completely whacked-out character with so much conviction.When I saw him for the first time on the sets, I freaked out”
When asked about her own performance, she said “I had no emotions to tap into. It took lots of discussions with Abhishek (Chaubey, director). He gave me the perspective I didn’t have. Then, I made it my own. I could never react naturally, the way Pinky, my character, does.”
