Akshay Kumar is going to be a part of Robot 2 and he is on cloud 9 to be working with The legendary Rajinikanth.
Akshay Kumar is a big fan of Rajinikanth and he is ecstatic to be working with the legend. Akshay will be playing the role of the villain in the sequel, which is going to be very interesting. Over the years he has grown past his image of Khiladi and proved his mettle in different roles. Whatever be the role, he has excelled in every genre be it comedy, action, suspense or serious acting.
Robot 2 is one film everyone is eagerly waiting for. Specially ever since we found that Akshay replaced Arnold Schwarzenegger for the role of the villain and that Robot 2.0 is going to have a massive budget of 350 crores. Akshay Kumar feels that it will be an honour for him to get punched by Rajinikanth.
While talking to a leading daily, Akshay said
“Today, the action may seem a little funny, but at that time I would be gaping at the screen, wondering how Rajini sir did what he did. It was a marvel in technique and technology! He’s a wonderful actor and even more, a wonderful human being. It will be an honour to be punched by Rajini sir. It’s going be a different world for me -the graphics, the action and the adulation that he commands.”
Working with Rajini is like a dream come true for Akshay, he feels these things don’t come to you even in a dream. He was also asked whether he is aware that the villain’s role was first offered to Arnold Schwarzenegger. To this he said,
“I have no idea, I just know that Shankar (director) and some of the others called me and told me they had a film for me.”
Well we are glad that Akshay will be playing the role and not Arnold. Aren’t you?
