Mary Kom and Sarbjit fame Omung Kumar’s next project will have Akshay Kumar as the hero.
The National Award winning director Omung Kumar’s next project will be testing new waters. It will be a psychological thriller and he is in talks with Akshay Kumar to play the lead in the thriller movie.
Akshay Kumar currently has got a lot in his plate and is also in talks with Subhash Kapoor for Jolly LLB 2. According to recent reports by the media, “There were rumours that Omung had approached Sushant Singh Rajput to play the lead but a source close to him reveals that he’s always had Akshay Kumar in mind for this role. Omung recently approached the actor, who was busy with the Housefull 3 promotions and shooting the Robot sequel with Rajinikanth. We also hear that the actor likes the plot but a final narration is pending. If all goes well, the film will start rolling next year.”
