Akshay Kumar is a busy man. The actor along with Housefull 3 promotions is also busy with the shooting of his superhero film Robot 2 in Chennai. Akshay will be playing the character of a scientist turned crow. Akshay Kumar’s look as crow man received good response from the moviegoers and everyone looks quite excited to see Akshay Kumar battling with Rajnikanth on the big screen.
During the recent interview with media for the promotion of Housefull 3, when Akshay was asked about the reason to sign Robot 2, the actor said, “I signed Robot 2 to be beaten up by Rajinikanth Sir in the film. Even that is an amazing achievement for me.”
When asked about his role in the movie, the actor said, “I play a superhero in Robot 2 which is an exciting character. I am a superhero in negative lead in Robot.”
The shooting of Robot 2 is currently taking place in Chennai. Akshay will fly to Morocco in a few days time to shoot for the next schedule of the movie. Directed by Shankar, Robot 2 is said to be made on a whopping budget of 350 crores. Slated for release in second half of 2017, Robot 2 also stars Danny and Amy Jackson in critical roles.
