Airlift 2nd Day Collection: After a good opening day, Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur starrer ‘Airlift’ saw solid growth on Saturday.
As expected, Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur’s patriotic drama ‘Airlift‘ registered a big growth on the second day at the Indian Box Office. This was pretty much on the cards as the movie is has received a positive response from all circles. After a good opening day with the collection of 12.35 crores, the movie registered a solid growth of 18% on 1st Saturday. As per the official reports, Airlift 2nd day collection is 14.6 crores. With 14.6 crores on the second day, the movie now stands at the total collection of 26.95 crores.

The movie is performing exceptionally well in big cities and metros like New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh and East Punjab. In small cities and mass centers too, the movie saw good growth on Saturday after a low opening. Airlift has completely thrashed the other release of the week, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum 3 which showed decent numbers on the first day.
Airlift is receiving a phenomenal response from the audience. The reviews have been extremely positive. It’s been a while we have seen such unanimous response for a Bollywood movie. Akshay Kumar starrer is heading to a 40+ crores opening weekend. Moreover, the movie has a chance to take advantage of Republic Day holiday to give a big boost to Box Office collections. If the movie continues to perform well then 100 crores opening week is certainly on the cards.

Airlift stars Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur and Purab Kohli in lead roles. The movie is based on a real-life event of world’s biggest human evacuation in 1990 when Iraq invades Kuwait.
