Airlift 8th Day Collection: Akshay Kumar’s ‘Airlift’ remains steady and collected 4.5 crores on its second Friday at the domestic Box Office.

After a superb opening week with the collection of 83.5 crores, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Airlift’ remains steady on its second Friday despite the release of ‘Mastizaade‘ and ‘Saala Khadoos‘. As per the official reports shared by trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, Airlift 8th day collection is 4.5 crores. The movie now stands at the total collection of 88 crores by the end of 8 days. With the total collection of 88 crores, ‘Airlift’ is now the 6th highest grosser of Akshay Kumar. The movie has beaten the lifetime collection of Brothers (82.47 crores), Gabbar Is Back (87 crores) and Oh My God! (83 crores).

Despite the release of ‘Mastizaade‘ and ‘Saala Khadoos‘, ‘Airlift’ remained steady on its 8th day. The movie is expected to witness good growth on Saturday and Sunday as the reviews of the new release are not good.

Made on a budget of 45 crores, ‘Airlift‘ is already one of the biggest hits of Akshay Kumar. The movie is expected to enter the elite 100 crore club by the end of this weekend.

Airlift stars Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur and Purab Kohli in lead roles. The movie is based on a real-life event of world’s biggest human evacuation in 1990 when Iraq invades Kuwait.
