Airlift 3rd Day Collection: ‘Airlift’ had a mammoth 1st Sunday with the collection of 17.35 crores. The first weekend collection of the movie is 44.3 crores.

Akshay Kumar’s latest release ‘Airlift‘ is flying high at the domestic Box Office. After a decent opening day with the collection of 12.35 crores, the movie continues to grow throughout the weekend. On Sunday, the movie saw a huge growth of 35% compared to its first day. The 3rd-day collection of the movie is 17.35 crores. The movie now stands at the total collection of 44.3 crores.

With 43.95, ‘Airlift’ is now the 4th highest opening weekend grosser for Akshay Kumar after Singh is Bliing (54.44 crores), Brothers (52.05 crores) and Rowdy Rathore (48.05 crores). For a movie with a patriotic theme, the opening weekend collection of 43.95 is a very good figure.

The movie has shown a good trend over the weekend. The movie started on an average note on Friday but with superb reviews and positive WOM the movie has shown tremendous growth over the weekend. It’s been a while we have seen such unanimous response for a Bollywood movie.

Considering the current pace and the response ‘Airlift‘ is receiving, we expect the movie to have a huge opening week. Moreover, the movie will take advantage of Republic Day holiday to give a big boost to Box Office collections. The movie is well on its way to cross 100 crores at the Box Office. ‘Airlift‘ will surely be one of the biggest hits for Akshay Kumar.

Airlift stars Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur and Purab Kohli in lead roles. The movie is based on a real-life event of world’s biggest human evacuation in 1990 when Iraq invades Kuwait.
