83 4th day box office collection: Ranveer Singh’s much-anticipated sports drama ’83’ falls flat at the box office on Monday. It’s a big flop.

After an average opening weekend with collections of Rs 47 crore, Ranveer Singh’s ’83’ fall flat at the box office on Monday. The much-anticipated sports drama failed to impress the audience. That’s the reason it recorded a huge drop in numbers on Monday. Ranveer Singh starrer witnessed a drop of 40% to 50% on Monday as compared to Friday. As per early estimates, 83 4th day collection is around Rs 6.5 crore. The total collection of 83 after 4 days stands at around Rs 53 crore.

The big fall in numbers on Monday is a clear indication that the audience has rejected the movie. With no signs of revival, it would be difficult for ’83’ to even touch the Rs 100 crore mark. I am expecting the lifetime collection to be around Rs 80 crore.

’83’ is a mega-budget movie and its poor performance is something to worry about for trade and industry. Despite glowing critic reviews, 83 has proved to be a major disappointment at the ticket window. The pitiful performance of the movie has once again proved that the big-budget movies are meant to be made for the audience and not to impress the critics.

Some reports are claiming that 83 has underperformed at the box office due to the fear of Omicron. However, the fact is that the audience is coming out in big numbers. Last week releases, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Pushpa are still making a lot of money at the box office. So, it’s all about entertaining the audience.

Lastly, 83 is a big box office disappointment and the industry should learn a lot from its failure.
