5 New Movies & Shows Releasing on March 25, 2022 [OTT & Theatres]

It is going to be an exciting weekend for movie lovers as the most-awaited movie RRR is finally releasing on March 25, 2022. Besides this, some big movies and shows are coming on OTT including Bridgerton Season 2, Valimai, Dune and more. Here’s a look at new movies and shows releasing on March 25, 2022, on OTT platforms and in theatres as well.

RRR 

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is finally making its debut in theatres on March 25, 2022. Starring Jnr NTR, Ramcharan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, it is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.

The high octane action drama will set the box office on fire for sure. The movie has already raked in Rs 65+ Crore through advance bookings.

Valimai on Zee5

The high octane action thriller revolves around IPS Arjun (Ajith). He is assigned a task to track down a group of outlaw bikers following their involvement in egregious crimes.

Released last month in theatres, superstar Ajith Kumar’s Valimai will make its digital debut on Zee5 on March 25, 2022. Valimai also stars Huma Qureshi, Kartikeya Gummakonda, Bani J and Yogi Babu.

Dune on Zee5 Amazon and Youtube

Released last year in theatres, Dune is a sci-fi drama based on Frank Herbert’s novel of the same name. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, Dune is a story of a noble family which gets embroiled in a war for control over the galaxy’s most valuable asset while its descendant becomes troubled by visions of a dark future.

Dune is one of the top movies of 2021 and has received 10 nominations at the 94th Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Bridgerton Season 2 on Netflix

One of the most-viewed shows on Netflix, Bridgerton, is coming back for its second season. The royal romantic-drama series revolves around the romantic encounters from the members of the titular family. It is based on Julia Quinn’s fiction novels.

The second season will follow The Viscount Who Loved Me, the second book in Julia Quinn’s book series. Season 2, as per the novel series, will revolve around the eldest son, Anthony Bridgerton, and his true love interest.

Bheemla Nayak on Disney+ Hotstar and Aha

Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati starrer Bheemla Nayak debuted in theatres on Feb 25, 2022. It is now making its digital debut on Disney+ Hotstar and Aha Video on March 24, 2022.

Bheemla Nayak is a remake of the 2020 Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. It focuses on two lead characters, an upright police officer and a retired army havildar. The movie is about what happens when their ego clashes.
