This includes a TV adaptation of a global bestseller. A romantic drama and an intense action-thriller. Here’s a look at new Korean dramas releasing from March 18 to March 25, 2022.

The King of Pigs (From March 18, 2022)

The thriller drama, ‘The King of Pigs,’ is an adaptation of the animated movie of the same name by Yeon Sang-Ho, which was released in 2011. With its naturalistic plot and perfect depiction of school violence and bullying, The King of Pigs movie garnered incredible reviews and won several awards. Now, it is adapted to a live-action TV series. The series is currently available to watch only on the south Korean streaming service TVING.

Soundtrack #1 (Streaming on Disney Plus on March 23, 2022)

Soundtrack #1 star Han So-hee and Park Hyung-Sik in lead roles. The romantic drama features a young woman and man who have been friends for two decades. Their feelings for one another begin to unravel after sharing the same roof for just two weeks.

Previously titled Why Did You Come To My House, Soundtrack #1 premieres on Disney+ on March 23, 2022.

Pachinko (Streaming on Apple TV+ on March 25, 2022)

The show chronicles the hopes and dreams of a Korean immigrant family across four generations as they leave their homeland in an unstoppable quest to survive and succeed.
