2.0 Fifth Day Box Office Collection: Crosses 100 Crore Mark On Monday

2.0 third day box office collection: Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 saw a good jump in collections on Saturday. Read the third-day box office collection report of the film.

The most expensive movie of the Indian cinema, 2.0 in cinemas now. Starring two biggest superstars of the country, Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth, 2.0 was released on Thursday with huge expectations. However, the movie failed to live up to expectations as far as box office numbers are concerned.

On its opening day, 2.0 earned just 25.25 crores, which is way below what everyone was expecting. On its second day, the movie holds well but the numbers remained low. It earned 18 crores on Friday. However, on Saturday, the movie witnessed a huge jump in collections.

2.0 Third Day Box Office Collection: Big Growth

After an average performance in the first two days, 2.0 witnessed good growth in collections on Saturday. The family audience came in big numbers on Saturday. The movie has started to score across Hindi markets.

As per early estimates, 2.0 third day collection would be around 25 crores. The total collection of the movie after three days stands at 63 crores.

Sunday will be huge

Good growth on Saturday suggests that the Sunday will be huge. We are expecting the movie to earn at least 30 crores today. Thus, the first-weekend collection of the movie will be more than 90 crores. It is racing towards 100 crore club.

The theatrical rights of the Hindi version have been sold for Rs. 77 crores. The Hindi version of the movie needs to earn 120 crores to be called a hit at the box office. Hindi version of the movie is expected to be a big hit with the lifetime collection of around 200 crores.

Talking about overall numbers, the movie needs to earn 650 crores to become hit. The makers have already made a recovery of 560 crores before release through theatrical, digital, music and satellite rights.
