2.0 Beats Baahubali, Becomes Second Highest Grossing Film In India

Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 is now the second highest grossing film in India, beats Baahubali: The Beginning.

Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 is unstoppable at the domestic box office. The film has completed 21 days and is now the second highest grossing film in India. After 21 days, the total domestic collection of the movie stands at Rs 420 crores nett.

It has beaten the lifetime numbers of Baahubali: The Beginning which earned Rs 418 crores in India. With the collection of 900+ crores, Baahubali 2 is still the highest grossing film in India.

Talking about the worldwide collection, the movie has grossed 700 crores. After 21 days, the worldwide gross collection of the movie stands at 720+ crores. It is now the 6th highest worldwide grosser of all time.

Talking about top worldwide grossers, Aamir Khan’s Dangal is at the top with the worldwide collection of 2000+ crores. Dangal is followed by Baahubali 2 (1810 crores), Secret Superstar (966 crores), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (910 crores) and PK (832 crores).

The Hindi version of Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth’s 2.0 has so far earned around 185 crores. It would be difficult for the film to cross 200 crores as Shahrukh Khan’s 2.0 is releasing on around 4000 screens. I am expecting a huge opening from Shahrukh Khan’s Zero. It will halt 2.0’s dream run in India.
