There’s now dearth of talent and rugged good looks on the Indian Television. In fact, there are many heartthrobs that may give a tough competition to our favorite stars in Bollywood. We have compiled a list of TV actors that need to make their Bollywood debut now!
1. Ravi Dubey
Initially a model, Ravi started his acting career with Stree… Teri Kahaani, then featured in Doli Saja Ke and Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar. He is best known for his roles in Saas Bina Sasural and Jamai Raja. Technically he has tried his luck in movies unsuccessfully with U R My Jaan, but we need to see more of him now!
2. Parth Samthaan
Parth started his career as first runner up in Pantaloon Fresh Face 2012 and went on to do episodic series like Life OK’s Savdhaan India, Webbed, UTV Bindass’s Yeh Hai Aashiqui. He got his first lead in Channel V’s Best Friends Forever. He is best known as the lead in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan (season 1 and 2). Rumor has it that Parth is soon to make his debut in movies with a film called ‘Googly Ho Gayi‘!
3. Mohit Raina
Mohit started his acting career with the TV show Antariksh and later went on to play a small role in Don Muthu Swami. He gained popularity as the lead in Devon Ke Dev — Mahadev. He has also appeared in Mahabharat and is currently the lead in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. He may just be perfect for roles in epic movies!
4. Rajat Tokas
Rajat made his TV debut with the show Bongo, then appeared as Tantya in Sai Baba. He got his first lead role as the young Prithviraj Chauhan in the series Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan. He later appeared in Tere Liye, Bandini. His portrayal of Emperor Akbar in Jodha Akbar gained him a lot of fan-following. He will soon be seen playing the role of Chandragupt Maurya in Chandra Nandni.
5. Kushal Tandon
The first runner-up of Grasim Mr. India 2005, Kushal made his debut with Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. He then participated in Nach Baliye 5, Bigg Boss 7 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (season 5) gaining a good fanbase. He will soon be seen in the TV show Beyhadh. This man was ranked sixth in the Eastern Eye UK magazine’s 50 Sexiest Asian Men 2012!
6. Viraf Phiroz Patel
A sailor in the Merchant Navy for five years, Viraf decided to try his luck in Grasim Mr. India 2005 and went on to win it. He started acting with Mahi Way, then worked in Kismat, Teri Meri Love Stories and recently in Naamkarann. He needs to move forward to movies now!
7. Karan Tacker
Karan had a very interesting start to his acting career. He first appeared in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in a short role and then got his first role in the TV show Love Ne Milla De Jodi as the lead. He has appeared in shows like Rang Badalti Odhani and Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. He was a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and hosted Halla Bol and The Voice.
8. Harshad Chopra
A huge Salman Khan fan, Harshad came into the limelight with Left Right Left after which he has appeared in a number of shows like Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Tere Liye, Amber Dhara, Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava?, Humsafars and Meenu Mausi. He needs to try his luck in movies now!
9. Vivian Dsena
Vivian started his career as a contestant of Gladrags Manhunt Contest, winning a position in the Top 10. This hunk got noticed for his role of Abhay Raichand in Pyar Ki Ye Ek Kahani. He has even been listed on the Eastern Eye newspaper’s renowned list of the 50 Sexiest Asian Men In The World. Currently, he is playing the male lead in the show Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki on Colors TV.
10. Rithvik Dhanjani
The Action Hero of the Small Screen, Rithvik got his big break in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. Subsequently, he featured in Pavitra Rishta. He also hosted and participated in many reality shows like Nach Baliye, Dare 2 Dance, India’s Best Dramebaaz and V Distraction. He even won the stunt based reality show I Can Do That.
