3.) Holiday – A Soldier is never off duty: A military officer plans to finish off the terrorist group that is slowly but steadily attacking the whole of India. Akshay Kumar was impeccable as an army officer. The movie went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year.

4.) Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya: A girl sets out to Punjab to buy her dream designer lehenga which costs a bomb- which her family is totally against. She meets a Casanova who has fallen for her and she can’t help but falling for her too. How will she convince her family that she wants to marry the guy whom she has fallen for ?
5.) Kick: An adrenaline junkie who does everything weird and risky possible to get his share of ‘Kick’, gets a tough time when he falls for a girl but has to hold on to his job so that he can marry her soon. Problem arises when he can’t stick to one job, because of which the break up happens and he turns in to a thief, crossing his ex-lover’s path again. Will he get her back ?
6.) Mardaani: A cop’s endless search for a missing orphan girl whom she loves dearly, leads her to the dark world of child trafficking in India. Getting the girl back safely along with thousand others who have been trafficked by the kidnapper, is the challenge for her.

7.) Mary Kom: A girl who aspires to be a boxer right from her childhood, is in her career peak when she decides to hey married- totally against her coach’s wishes. How she manages her birth to twins and her career alongside, going all the way to become Five Times World Boxing Champion, making her country proud is the inspirational story.
8.) Haider : Haider is a modern-day adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, the movie won hearts of audience as well as critics. Shahid Kapoor produced a gem of performance as the titular protagonist.
9.) Happy New Year : Such was the anticipation of the movie that it got the highest Box Office opening of all time. This action-action-heist comedy was loved by the audience and emerges as one of the biggest hits of the year.
