The story of the God of Cricket is here in the form of a documentary. Presenting Sachin: A Billion Dreams teaser.

Directed by Emmy nominated director James Erskine, Sachin: A Billion Dreams is all about the man that Sachin Tendulkar is. It is about Dreams, Dedication and Inspiration. The Sachin: A Billion Dream teaser gives us a glimpse of how a ‘Wild Child’ went on to become a ‘Virtuous Hero’ who united our whole nation.

According to the director Erskine, “The film was 30 months in the making and was shot in five countries. We have recreated characters and situations from his life. The viewers will have a different experience with many never-seen-before moments from the legend’s professional and personal life.”

Sachin Tendulkar will be making his acting debut of sorts in the film. The teaser begins with Sachin speaking about what his father always told him. He says “My father always told me that you have chosen to play cricket, that is just one chapter in life. But something that will stay permanently with you is the person you are.”
The poster of the film says: “55 days of training. One pair of trousers. The Sachin story.”

I just have one word for it- Mind-blasting!

What sticks around after watching the teaser are the words of Tony Greig-

“Whaddaplaya! What a wonderful player!”

We couldn’t agree more with him!

Produced By Ravi Bhagchandka & Carnival Motion Pictures, the music of the film is composed by none other than Oscar Award winner A.R. Rahman. The release date of Sachin A Billion Dreams isn’t revealed yet. Stay tuned with us and stay updated!
