Akshay Kumar’s Rustom and Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro are two of the most-awaited movies of this year. While Rustom is based on the 1959 Nanavati case, Mohenjo Daro is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo-Daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilization. Are we really ready for a fight of Rustom Vs Mohenjo Daro?
There were reports that Mohenjo Daro director Ashutosh Gowariker has spoken to another production house about the release date of the movie. But the makers have denied these reports in their official statement-
“This is a clarification in regards to recent media reports that Ashutosh Gowariker has been spoken to by another production house about the release date of his upcoming film, Mohenjo Daro. As the spokesperson of Ashutosh Gowariker Productions, I would like to clarify that he has not been spoken to and that there is no change in the release date of Mohenjo Daro. As officially announced more than a year ago, on January 15, 2015, the film will release on August 12, 2016. There is a specific promotional plan in place for our film and our campaign will begin as scheduled by our team for the same.
So now the ball is in Akshay Kumar’s court! Will the makers of Rustom decide to change the date in order to avoid this massive clash? Or will they gear up to lock horns with Hrithik Roshan?

I think they should avoid a clash. And since Superstar Akshay Kumar’s Rustom was announced first, he should stick to the 12 th Aug release date. Superstar Hritik Roshan should shift his movie to another day , because he announced it later.
