What Sooraj Pancholi said about the Jiah Khan Suicide Case
Sooraj Pancholi

Sooraj Pancholi has been in the limelight ever since CBI filed a charge sheet in the Jiah Khan Suicide Case.

Sooraj Pancholi has been accused under section 306 of the IPC i.e. abetment of suicide. The charge sheet filed by CBI uncovered some horrific details about the case. According to their investigation, Jiah Khan was four weeks pregnant when Sooraj and Jiah approached a gynecologist for abortion. But due to some complications, Jiah started hemorrhaging and called Pancholi for help. That was when Sooraj took matters into his own hands and extricated the foetus of their unborn baby.

The moment was enough for Jiah Khans falling into the realm of never ending depression which eventually forced her into ending her life. When Sooraj Pancholi was asked to comment about these revelations, he said, “I haven’t read the charge sheet yet. I don’t know who else has read it, so let’s not make any assumptions. I neither want to play any revenge games nor seek sympathy. I just want to fight the case in court and work for myself and my family.”

He opened up further about the case now. Here are some things he said about the case-

Highs and lows are a part of life. God is great!

The case is still in court. Ten people have ten different things to say about it.

I will talk once the case is cleared.

I don’t want to make a ‘khichdi’ out of it.

Salman has got nothing to do with it. (on whether Salman is supporting him in this case).

Like every family, my family is supporting me and I am supporting my family.
