Welcome Back 3rd Day Collection: ‘Welcome Back’ had a huge 3rd Day (Sunday) with the collection of around 20 crores as per early estimates.
Anees Bazmee’s ‘Welcome Back’ is having a dream run at domestic Box Office. The movie is performing way better than most Bollywood trade analysts has expected. Most of the trade pandits were expecting a decent weekend of around 40 crores but the movie amasses all expectations collected around 52 crores in three days to become the 3rd highest opening weekend grosser of 2015 beating Varun Dhawan’s ABCD 2.
After registering a superb opening day with the collection of 14.35 crores, the movie has shown an unbelievable growth on weekends collecting 17 crores and 19.6 crores on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Though the reviews from critics hasn’t been good, it seems like the WOM from public is what really working in favour of the movie. The movie is also benefited by the fact that it is a sequel of a super hit comedy ‘Welcome‘ which was a big hit of 2007.

‘Welcome Back‘ is performing exceptionally well in mass centers and single screen dominate states like Bihar, U.P, Gujarat, Rajasthan and M.P.
‘Welcome Back’ was released on 3200 screens across the country. The first weekend has been quite extra ordinary for the movie but the real test will start from Monday as it will decide the fate of the movie. ‘Welcome Back‘ has to perform exceptionally well a Box Office since the movie is made on a mammoth budget of around 90 crores. The movie needs to collect around 30 crores in weekdays as there will be a big drop in the screen count with the release of ‘Hero‘ next week.
