The sequel of Namaste London titled Namastey England is scheduled to start from next year in March.
Producer and Director Vipul Shah has confirmed the news that Namastey England featuring Akshay Kumar will start it’s first Shooting Schedule in March 2016. There were reports earlier stating that the movie has been postponed to the end of 2016, but Vipul Shah denied all this and confirmed that the shooting starts in March 2016.
According to those reports, “There was talk in the trade that Akshay will be seen in Namastey England with Sonakshi Sinha. The film will roll by the end of 2016. The actor is also talking to AR Murugadoss, and Kumar wants to start by June.”
Shah’s statement has put an end to all these rumors. There were also a lot of speculations about the leading lady of the movie. First, it was said that Katrina Kaif would be a part of it, then Anushka Sharma, Sonakshi Sinha and even Kangana Ranaut were said to be approached for the roles. Finally, it was confirmed that Sonakshi Sinha will be opposite Akshay in Namastey England.
During an interview with BollywoodLife, Akshay Kumar said, “I’m working in London for Housefull 3 at the moment. Post this I’ll get back to Airlift and then get on with Rustom. Namastey England will go on floors sometime in April.”
No doubt he is a very busy man, but we hope he makes time for the movies. We can’t wait for Akshay Kumar’s upcoming films!
